Reset / Generate password updates

For security reasons, we changed the way to generate passwords for users and contact organisation and added some rules to enhance password security.

Generate password for a new user or contact organisation:

Starting from now, to generate a new password for a new user or contact organisation, simply tick the box “Notify user to generate / update his/her password” when adding the user and the user will receive an email with instructions to follow to generate a password and login to the ViaSyst platform.

Each user will have the possibility to manage his/her password through links sent to the concerned user. No need to share password through emails anymore.

We also implemented new password policies that are available here.

Reset password:

Each user can reset his/her password directly from the login page.
